Eastside Community School offers After-School Care (ASC) for students in our Early Childhood Extended Day Program and

for students in grades one through eight on days when school is in session—excluding snow days, early dismissal days, the last day

of school, and for grade school students who have left campus prior to 3:00 p.m. and early childhood students who have left campus

prior to 2:45 p.m.

Early Childhood Families: Attendance in ASC is by registration only. Due to licensing requirements, we can accommodate no

more than 10 students. Space is limited, registrations will be first-come, first-served until all spots have been filled.

If all spaces in the ASC have been filled for the day, or if you call after 10:00 a.m., please be prepared to find an alternative

childcare solution. We cannot accept registrations after 10:00 a.m. on the day care is needed. Care starts at dismissal. Pickup

time is no later than 5:30 p.m.

There are two pricing structures available for After-School Care. You will be invoiced monthly for your ASC usage through

your TADS account.

Option 1: Families may pay $13.75 per hour as a drop-in rate, and will be billed in 30-minute increments. There is a 10-minute

grace period at the beginning of each 30-minute period, after which ECS will bill for the full half-hour, so a child spending 35

minutes in ASC will be billed for 30 minutes and a child spending 42 minutes will be billed for 60 minutes.

Option 2: Families may pay $585 per month for regular care. ECS will not offer refunds or partial months.

After-School Care teachers are scheduled from 2:45 (EC) / 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. Please be mindful that a child who is not

picked up on time places an extra burden on personnel. If unavoidable circumstances require a late pickup, please call the

office to advise us of your situation. Students who remain on campus after the regular pickup time of 5:30 p.m. will incur a late

charge of $10 for each 10 minutes.

Due to the limited space, if your child is scheduled to be in ASC, and your plans change so care is no longer needed, changes

must be submitted to the school office by 2:45 pm to avoid a $13.75 fee.
